Tradition, Quality, and Sustainability in Every Piece of Wood

At Larssons Trä in Tranemo, we have been working with wood since 1946.

It all began with a few machines, a handful of skilled hands, and a deep passion for craftsmanship.

Today, we are a modern turning and planing industry specializing in small-dimension wood components produced in large volumes, still with the same focus on precision, material expertise, and long-term relationships.

We primarily work with birch and pine, consuming approximately 3,500 m³ of timber annually.

Our automatic lathes handle diameters ranging from 4 to 115 mm, and in our planers and CNC machines we produce everything from profiled mouldings and dowels to milled custom components.

One of our specialties is cutting mouldings with an exceptionally fine surface finish, highly valued by customers with strict quality requirements.

We also offer surface treatments such as tumbling and electrostatic lacquering, delivering ready-to-use and functional products straight from the factory.

Our business is divided into three main areas:

  • Furniture & Joinery
Components for furniture, interiors, and custom joinery, such as center pins, knobs, and handles.

  • Semi-finished Products & DIY
Wood components in semi-finished form for hobby shops, institutions, and small-scale manufacturers, allowing the customer to create, paint, and assemble themselves.

  • Decor & Ornament
Finished wooden products for retail, promotional gifts, and designers, often developed in close collaboration with the customer.

In addition to our standard range, we also manufacture custom wood components according to customer specifications - always with professional pride, short lead times, and high delivery precision.

Our products can be found in homes, public spaces, and stores all over the world. Approximately 30% of our production is exported, primarily to the Nordic region and Europe, but also to countries such as the USA, Japan, and Australia.

Whether you are a buyer, designer, or retailer, you are welcome to work with us.

We listen, adapt, and deliver - with care for both people and materials.
